Kingdom Progress is our two-year, $1.5 million initiative to secure and leverage Haven for future Gospel movement, fulfilling our vision to gather to grow, and grow to go for the glory of Jesus Christ.
There are four key areas of investment: Owning Our Gospel Outpost to ensure long-term stability, Building Strength for expanding ministry needs, Stewarding God's House through necessary facility maintenance, and significantly Seeding Church Plants—investing in training and sending out leaders to plant new churches.
This is a discipleship journey for all of us. It is less about fundraising and more about forming hearts of trust, generosity, and joyful partnership in God's lasting mission as we commit to being a church known for sending out, not settling in. Will you join us?
FOUR AREAS OF VISION
-
God didn’t give us this building just to meet in; He gave it to us to launch from.
Owning this creates stability, frees resources, and anchors Haven as a long-term Gospel presence in this neighborhood. Our lease terms allows 50% of rent to be applied toward a future purchase, lowering the final cost by almost $160,000
Why this matters:
Stabilizes monthly costs below current rent
Secures Haven’s future as a ministry base
Makes this space a permanent home for training and launching church plants from a financially strong center.
-
As God grows our church, our operational costs naturally expand. This reserve creates margin instead of stress and readiness instead of reaction.
Why This Matters:
Helping cover rising utility, maintenance, and ministry costs.
Positioning us to hire staff as growth requires it.
Allowing ministry to continue confidently even in uncertainty.
Giving us freedom to plan long-term rather than month-to-month or even week to week.
-
Faithful stewardship creates fruitful ministry. These are not glamorous expenses by any means but By taking care of the HVAC, roof needs, and routine repairs, we ensure the building stays healthy and ready for the people God keeps bringing.
Why this matters:
Keeps the building functional and welcoming
Prevents costly future breakdowns
Protects Sunday gatherings, midweek ministries, and future events so people can consistently meet Jesus
-
This is the most exciting and the most costly part of who Haven is becoming. And here’s why. We’re putting our money where our mouth is. If we say we’re a sending church, then we must invest in sending. This fund prepares us to train pastors, raise worship leaders, equip launch teams, and plant churches that will preach the Gospel long after we’re gone.
And here's the honest truth: this part of the vision is also scary. It means that the people sitting in our seats today — people we love, people we disciple, people who serve faithfully — may one day not be with us, because they will be sent out to plant new churches across the city and beyond. But that’s exactly what we’ve prayed for from the start. We want to be a church that celebrates empty seats because they represent people who have been sent on mission.
Why This Matters:
Financially prepare for future planters and teams
Send pastors, leaders, and families with stability
Plant churches without delay or financial hesitation
To become a church known more for sending than sitting
Celebrate empty seats because they represent mission accomplished
WHAT’S THE POTENTIAL IMPACT OF A GIFT OVER TIME?
As we move into this season, we want everyone to prayerfully participate not just financially, but in discipleship. We’re inviting every person and every family to take a tangible step of discipleship through our Commitment Cards. This isn’t about pressure; it’s about partnership.
Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that increases to your credit.
Philippians 4:17
Committing to give is one of the ways we train our hearts to trust God and disciple our resources under His lordship. It’s saying, “Everything I have is Yours, Lord — use it for Your mission.”
But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able thus to offer willingly? For all things come from you, and of your own have we given you.
1 Chronicles 29:14
We’ve intentionally designed this campaign so that everyone can participate no matter your level of commitment because generosity isn’t about equal gifts, it’s about equal sacrifice. Each card represents a step of faith, a commitment to be part of what God is building through Haven: a church that grows to give, and gives to send. We want this to be a moment where our church says together, “We’re all in.” Every gift, every commitment, every step of obedience becomes fuel for the future of Gospel ministry in and through Haven.
So the question before us isn’t just, “What can I afford to give?” It’s, “How can I invest my resources in what lasts forever?”
Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Matthew 6:19-21
